After what feels like way too long (11 months to be exact), Manchester experimentalists ANOTHER; COUNTRY $$$$ surface with their high-energy sophomore single 'TETHER'. Easing listeners back in to their magpie-like approach, there's plenty of depth and nuance to unpack as emotive strings and ambient guitars find space between high-pitched samples, rapid electronic beats and an unruly synth bass line. Hurtling along after a tasteful introduction, 'TETHER' manages to fuse hyper-pop and gut-wrenching classical compositions in the time it takes a standard pop song to play out. Grappling with a palpable sense of disconnection, 'TETHER' "is about that feeling of becoming distant from your own reality- like losing your sense of control, being swept away by everything happening around you."
